Alex Wong: having surgery Jul 13

By now you now that Alex was hurt last week Tuesday during his last rehearsal before show day. On the show, Nigel says he lacerated his Achilles tendon. Alex says he actually tore his Achilles. It'll be long recovery process. I'm sending you my prayers for a successful surgery and recovery.

Los Angeles - Gifted dancer Alex Wong was a contender to win on Fox’s hit reality show "So You Think You Can Dance" until he suffered a torn Achilles during rehearsal ending his run on the show and learned that he will require surgery to repair the damage.
